Dark Angel
I walk to the edge
The wind whispering to me
"I don't know how to explain this,
But this was meant to be."
The sharpness of the air
And the coldness of the night
Told me deep inside
That what I'm doing is right.

I spread my arms
To the freedom of the atmosphere
And as the sky opened for me
And welcomed my company
I felt my feet lift from me
But something was different.

The sky seeped away.
